² There are many ·rooms [places to live] in my Father’s house [^Cheaven, metaphorically portrayed as a great palace]; I would not tell you this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you. ³ ·After [^LAnd if] I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me so that you may be where I am. ⁴ You know the way to the place where I am going^[a] [^Cbecause they know Jesus; 14:6].”
